NOSE:
The first impression is complex and layered, with a strong mix of ripe dark fruit—blackberries, plums, and cherries. These fruits are balanced by earthy, mineral notes characteristic of the Priorat terroir, with a subtle graphite aroma. The amphora-aged Garnacha adds a touch of aromatic purity, with hints of fresh herbs, such as thyme and rosemary, plus a faint floral undertone, like violets. The Carinyena brings a layer of spice, with a trace of toasted oak, giving a sense of depth without overpowering the fruit. There is also a faint smokiness and a bit of Mediterranean rosemary.

PALATE:
On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with a fine balance of fruit, acidity, and tannins. The dark fruit flavors from the nose—blackberries, black cherries, and cassis—are present up front, while the amphora-aged Garnacha adds a vibrant freshness, with bright acidity that keeps the wine lively. The tannins are soft but structured, imparting a smooth, velvety mouthfeel. The Carinyena aged in second-use French oak gives a gentle spice, with hints of cinnamon, clove, and a touch of vanilla, blending harmoniously with the fruit profile.
