NOSE:
Intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and ripe black cherry. Subtle notes of wild herbs typical of the Priorat region, such as rosemary, thyme and a hint of bay leaf. A pronounced graphite, slate or crushed rock character, reflecting the region’s famous llicorella soils. Hints of sweet vanilla, toast, and cocoa from the French oak, with a subtle touch of cedar and clove spice.

PALATE:
Concentrated flavours of dark fruits (blackcurrant, plum and blackberry) are interwoven with secondary notes of dark chocolate, espresso and black olive. A distinct mineral backbone, showcasing a crushed rock or graphite character, adds complexity and depth to the palate.

The French oak influence is present but well-integrated, providing nuances of vanilla bean, baking spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and a touch of toasted oak. The tannins are firm but refined, suggesting good potential for aging, while the acidity provides a mouthwatering sensation, leaving a fresh, clean finish.
